It is very difficult to find topics using the search tool on the DevForum.
What I am looking for:
The results I get when I search “Texture Generator” with a filter of Updates (without the filter it returns a bunch of discussion/help posts).
Even when narrowed to updates only, I get a bunch of update announcements which are not even close to what I am looking for. I’d expect that if I search the title of a post, it would be the first result.
Instead, I have to go to google/bing and search “search term + roblox devforum” to find the post I am looking for. This goes for any category. If you search the name or know the general idea of a topic, it still returns unrelated results.
Why does the built-in search always provide such poor results? This also makes it difficult to avoid posting duplicate topics because the search never provides relevant information when you’re trying to see if a topic exists or not before making a post.
