It can be extremely frustrating to get your assets moderated. I’m going to try and explain my idea as best I can.
For example Bob has just made a game and 400 people are playing it. 2 assets are moderated including his lobby theme and an important GUI decal. There’s no communication to know it’s been moderated (unless you get some kind of moderation action from it) poor Bob thinks there’s nothing wrong with his game and it’s all fine for now until he gets 110 angry PM’s later that are of the following “YOUR ###### #### WHY ####### MISSING ## ###### ###### ######” there needs to be some communication to developers regarding moderation of assets.
My idea is to somehow have a ‘tagging’ system when you use assets in your game you can view what’s being used from the games configure page (perhaps under live stats?) and see the status of them (Okay in green or Moderated - Removed in red and a ‘Pending’ in yellow) so for all the decals I have in my game currently and audio I can keep an eye out to check that all the assets in the game are okay. You can manually add any kind of asset you are using (in-case you’re using a SoundID from a script for example or something along the similar) having all the assets here would make it easy to monitor and you could then even use the notifications area on the ROBLOX website to send notifications of when an asset is moderated/taken down.
The quicker we know about moderation on assets the quicker we can fix them so Bob can get his lobby music back or quickly find an alternative.
