Improvements to Publishing & Merchandising Bodies & Heads on Marketplace

This is the most exciting change for me as I despise the existence of different avatar scale types and the need to consider and choose between them, at least now the type chosen can accurately be represented

Awesome! Hopefully, this support can come out soon and have the same capability of selling through Roblox Communities too

Will there be support to move ownership of bundles already uploaded under an account to a community? I’d like to have mine under a community as it would be great for feedback.

So how do I change the skin color of my existing bundles? I don’t see this in Creator Hub anywhere.

Huge boosts, now I just need PBR for accessories and I can finish off an important bundle for my game’s avatar shop. I had to shelve it earlier because of the missing support for communities.

Wonderful update! Can’t wait to see what else is coming up :eyes:
scheduling… transparency… pbr… accessories in bundles…?

Thank you for this and thanks for letting us rename our bundles! There was no reason for that not to be possible until now

I’m incredibly grateful that features like this are introduced! Do you think the no Tattoo and makeup rule would be lifted anytime soon?

You should have received a message via DevForum asking for you to submit specific brickcolor / rgb colors alongside bundle ID’s you’d like updated, I believe they’ll reach out if you mention that you didn’t receive this message though

I second this, If this is possible in anyway that would be awesome.

Create your recolorable texture as normal. Then, just add BodyColors to your Avatar Model. (Add it under the model of your avatar, not under any body parts). Your done! BodyColors is mainly used for displaying a certain color on a recolorable bundled when it’s displayed on the marketplace. You can change the displayed colors in the properties of BodyColors. Let me know if you need anything else!

If your existing bundle isn’t already recolorable, then your going to have to reupload with a recolorable texture and BodyColors. You should have been messaged to change the colors by staff.

The quote here gives the answer to your question.

Although BodyColors is required under every new bundle uploaded to the marketplace, you don’t have to use it. If you don’t want a recolorable bundle, don’t make your texture transparent. If you want a recolorable bundle, but don’t want the colors displaying on the marketplace. Make the color property under Body Colors to a grey/light grey color like the default was before.

I love all of this, but I have an issue / request.

Bodycolors are neat, but currently the Import3D doesn’t import bodies with body colors. This means for every body I submit I have to add a body color in manually. Also, not having body colors doesn’t trigger the Avatar Setups errors, so if I forget I only see that at the upload stage (a waste of time).

Could you make it so Import3D imports bodycolors with it?

Thanks!

AMAZING updates overall, thank you guys!!

I have one question however, are there any plans to fix dynamic head textures being heavily downscaled causing them to look pixelated on R6 avatars?
This issue is really frustrating and just ruins the look of ugc dynamic head faces when used on any R6 character.

Thanks for the feedback! Good call, we’ll look into making this a bit more seamless and less manual. (Adding BodyColors on 3D import seems like the best place)

We are very pleased with this update. My friend and I have started a group and have been uploading a variety of bundles—thank you for this improvement! Managing multiple alt accounts, organizing revenue, and distributing percentages was quite challenging for us initially, so we are grateful to see these aspects improved.

One suggestion for further improvement would be to introduce the option to sponsor bundles. While the algorithm ensures that each bundle gets the attention it needs within 1-2 weeks, having the ability to sponsor them would provide more visibility, similar to other UGC types on the platform.

THANK YOU this is the best update since Bundles

Add Skin Color to Bodies

Will bodies that don’t have modesty layer but their skin color resemble clothing, (the Man an Woman bundle for example) will they get moderated regardless?
