While I understand this topic has been discussed and even experimented with, as noted in the Increasing Server Memory Experiments, I want to emphasize why this change is crucial.
Every developer strives for a lag-free experience, especially those working on resource-intensive games, such as RTS games, which heavily rely on CPU power and server memory. Increasing server memory and enhancing CPU performance would directly support smoother gameplay and better scalability for complex projects.
Be it clock speed, cores, or threads, a better CPU will undoubtedly enable games to handle significantly more complexity and deliver a superior experience.
I urge the Roblox development team to prioritize and expand these capabilities, enabling us to create faster, more seamless experiences for players. By investing in improved server performance, you would empower developers to push the platform’s boundaries further and elevate the quality of games across Roblox.
