In Blender, how would you advise on how to start making a model?

So I’ve been interested in trying to make my own Blender models for my own project, but I would like to know what would be the best ways to start making a 3D model.

My current knowledge in this area is moving pre-made spheres around and knowing what the Mirror modifier does to save time.

For any of my projects whether it be for a logo, a roblox buliding, or a blender model I always start by looking up images for inspiration. It doesn’t matter if you just a slight design from something like a tiled roof, you still get that inspiration to help you imagine what you want to build.

Of course this is only IF you have a general idea of what you want to build. You need that goal first but after that getting inspiration is a great way to spark your development.

Now, if you are talking like blender tools and such, look up a few videos on different modeling techniques and of the same modeling techniques to nail what you like to do. Just watch timelapse videos on the methods they use and start trying them out yourself. This is how I started and it seemed to work very well.
