I’m not able to reproduce the issue.

Are you still seeing this behavior?

The bug with “Click in Viewport” remains.

And I realized the problem with the “Shift” selection in Explorer.
At 0:01, I click on “Baseplate” in “Explorer”.
Then at 0:03, I click, with"Alt" in “Viewport”,
and then I press “Shift” to try to select the area in “Explorer”.
But as you can see, the selection started with “Baseplate” on the clicked object.
In other words, the click that was in “Viewport” was not counted in some selection history, so “Explorer” when I press “Shift” thinks that I am trying to select from “Baseplate” to the clicked object.
This keeps happening:
At 0:09, I click on the first object in the folder list in “Explorer”
Then at 0:11, I click on the part in “Viewport”.
And when I hold down “Shift” in “Explorer”, there is a selection from what I selected at 0:09 to the newly clicked object.
At 0:16, I do a simple click on “SpawnLocation” in “Viewport”.
Then another click with “Alt” also in “Viewport”.
But despite the simple click at 0:16, the selected, happens as always, starting with the object I first clicked at 0:09.
So, the problem is not “Alt”, but not taking into account the selected objects through “Viewport” for selection with “Shift” through “Explorer”.

Ah, I see the issue now, thanks, I can repro that.

The fix for the ‘Click in Viewport’ bug should be live in the latest release. Marking this as fixed since it seems the other bugs have also been resolved. Thanks for the report!
