In my game's rules list, am I allowed to write the same sensitive topic words that are included in the Roblox Community Standards?

I’m talking about words like “grooming”, “sexual behavior”, “self harm” etc., as I would assume that these words would normally get filtered out if you wrote them in a chat. I know I shouldn’t even need to write these out in my game’s rules if it’s generally in the rules of the entire platform, but sadly no one reads the community standards and teenage players need everything spelled out for them - I’ve had quite a few cases where the players in my game were, for instance, making jokes about pedophilia, and then were surprised that my moderation team banned them from the game. I’d gladly recite the whole Community Standards in my rules to make my game safer, but I also don’t want to get it banned on accident just for including sensitive words.

Don’t risk it. Simply write “Respect Roblox’s ToS.” and that’s enough.

It’s their problem. They should expect that they risk a ban from your game or globally Roblox for not respecting them.

That’s common sense, honnestly writing it won’t change anything at least for this example: if they don’t read the ToS there is a low chance they will read your game’s rules and anyone knows it isn’t a good idea to joke about these topics. They knew what they were risking, but decided to still do it. Not your problem honnestly. Don’t risk to get your game closed or even your account banned just for some other players.

That would make it a lot to read. That would make it even worse, as there is no way they will read something that big, so in extra of just not reading the Roblox ToS, you will make them not want to read your game’s own rules.

Again:

Don’t risk it. Simply write “Respect Roblox’s ToS.” and that’s enough.

Alright, I suppose it is indeed better to not risk it, you’re completely right. Thanks!
