In need of help for the Moon Animator 2 plugin

I just started using the Moon Animator 2 plugin yesterday and I think it’s pretty neat, but I’m having problems with exporting and like saving the animation to roblox. I’m trying to make a model do an animation but I can’t export it and also I have no idea how to play the animation. Is Moon Animator 2 a good animation plugin to be doing animations with models or is there a better one or does just the regular animation tab on studio work fine?

Moon Animator saves KeyframeSequence directly under the rig you’re trying to animate. When you save your animation on Moon Animator, it adds the keyframes to your rig. You just need to publish your game to Roblox after animating to get the ID to use for your Animations.

Does this only work for player rigs or does this work for regular block models too? Since I don’t see anything under the model I’m trying to animate. And how would I test out the animation?

Sorry, I think I should elaborate on this. By saving, I meant exporting your rigs to get the Animations. You’ll have to publish your game for the Animation’s ID, in order to test it out.

You would have to rig it in some way. You can use RigEdit if you need to make a custom model into a rig.

I am bad at explaining and I am currently braindead so sorry if I explain this wrong but you basically export the animation go to the npc with the animation go to Animesaves and find the animation right click to save to roblox copy and paste id and play it using the id. Send pics or smth with any problems you experience.

So I did the RigEdit plugin and after making a simple animation and exporting the rig it did pop up under the chest model. But how would I test this out?

You need to publish the game to save the Animation to Roblox. Once you do so, you’re able to use the ID under the Animation instance to test.

It saved to roblox and I’m able to get the ID from it but when I tried to play the animation it just didn’t work. I’m not sure why it’s not playing but I may of did something wrong I have no idea.
