Inability to Edit Games With Copying and Team Create Enabled

Reproduction Steps

  • Publish a game
  • Enable team crate
  • Enable copying
  • Attempt to edit the game as a user without permission to join the team create session

System Information

11th Gen Intel Core i7 @ 2.50 GHz, 16 GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060

Expected Behavior

User’s client should open a local copy rather than attempting to connect to the team create, which they do not have access to.

Actual Behavior

When a user attempts to edit a game that has both copying and team create enabled, but the user does not have access to the team create session, the user will receive a variation of the error depicted below with 100% reproducibility. I believe the issue is due to the user’s client connecting to a team create session, which they do not have access to rather than opening a local copy.

We can’t publish anything with TC enabled.

Thanks for the report ! We are aware of this issue and we are working on a fix.

Ive had this problem on my group’s game my problem was having to much terrain in the game so when I enabled team create the game just crashed. I restored from a backup file then removed all terrain.
