For a couple of months (at least 2) I have been getting an HTTP 400 error when I upload Decals through the Create page on the website, completely at random. It also occurs on this page, which is embedded in the Create page.
When I encounter this issue from the Create page, the embedded iframe becomes the error page, then the entire browser navigates to an error page.
The rate of this happening is not affected by any parameters of the image I am trying to upload.
It seems to happen more likely during particular timeframes than it is with a particular consistent frequency, but I’m not sure of this; I just tried uploading 23 unique decals, and 13 duplicate decals just now and did not encounter it except for first image out of this set of images (it uploaded fine when I tried it again afterwards). A few days ago however I was uploading 39 test images for an issue and I encountered it over 6 times.
A timestamp for when this happened to me was 9:57 AM PST @ Jan. 10, 2021 (or Sun, 10 Jan 2021 17:57:00 GMT).
Not sure if it helps, but since an id is included, the particular error page was https://www.roblox.com/request-error?id=1b63e4d2-2c06-429b-a3f6-db6dcfb54f11&mode=&code=
The machine that served me that error page and most likely the embedded upload page was WEB410.
I was having this issue as well almost a week ago when I was uploading decals, but I found in my case that if I uploaded too frequently it would throw the 400 error page. I waited a few minutes between each upload and it worked fine.
That being said, I only uploaded during one time frame.
(This was January 4 some time in the afternoon EST, can’t remember the exact timestamp)
The test files I tried both today and a few days ago I was uploading continuously as fast as I could, it seems there’s no correlation with the rate this happens and the rate you upload.
