Incorrect Mesh Being Loaded Into Experiences

We’ve observed that MeshParts in our experience appear to be loading the wrong meshes. This began approximately 1 to 2 hours ago. We have not changed any systems or assets in any way.

The affected experience in question:

Expected behavior

Meshes should load their asset IDs as they normally should.

Thanks for the report - we sent this to the engineers!

Hi, can we have the asset ids of the assets that loaded with wrong asset id, so we can try to reproduce the issue?

Hi,

Sorry, we don’t have the affected MeshId in question. This issue occurs at random, and in unpredictable ways. There is no specific mesh that does this, and it seems that all meshes are being affected.

My game seems to be having a similar issue since 2 days ago, I’ve gotten reports of something like it happening, but haven’t seen the issue myself.
In my game i have a map made of meshparts, some parts seem to load as completely different meshes. Other players cant see the improperly loaded mesh, though if the player with the bug joins another server they see the wrongly loaded mesh again.

My game: Countryball World 🌎 - Roblox

We’re (Area 47) experiencing the same issue, which is causing problems for some players. It appears to be a client-side problem, as some players are seeing the correct mesh while others are seeing the incorrect one.

Happening to our game at the current moment; a huge nightmare, hoping this gets fixed soon

So far our eng haven’t been able to recreate this issue.
Can we have a reproducible case / users that consistently run into this (so we can check if they are in an experiment group?)

It seems to be happening very randomly. It was happening to me earlier but now its rendering properly for me. These users reported that they also were also having the same problem. I dont know if it is consistent or not: 1308120637, 1132415335.

It happens when you join or when you load the mesh. After you load the mesh all of the meshes with the same id becomes effected.

We’ve mitigated this issue, however if the wrong meshes are still cached in the client cache, those users will still experience the issue until either their cache expires or the Roblox app is uninstalled & reinstalled. Please continue to monitor this issue and inform us if it persists.
