I encountered a UI issue while attempting to join a private server in Roblox. When a private server link becomes invalid, the error message in the UI still refers to the server as a “VIP Server,” even though Roblox now uses the term “Private Server” instead of “VIP Server.” This inconsistency can be confusing for users, as the term “VIP Server” is outdated and no longer used in Roblox’s current terminology.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Find a game that supports Private Servers.
- Create a Private Server by clicking on the “Create Private Server” button.
- Click on the 3-dot menu at the top right of your Private Server and select “Configure.”
- Enable “Allow Joining” and click “Generate” under the “Private Server Link” section.
- Copy and save the generated link. Then, disable “Allow Joining” to ensure the link no longer works.
- Open a new browser tab and paste the previously saved link to attempt joining the Private Server.
- Observe the UI error message that still refers to the server as a “VIP Server” instead of a “Private Server.”
Actual Behavior:
The UI displays the outdated message: “This VIP Server link is no longer valid.”
Expected Behavior:
The UI should display the correct message: “This Private Server link is no longer valid.”
