Increasing Playtime for an Obby?

I’m currently working on an obby game where you can use a jetpack to fly around and beat the obby with. It always averages around 8 minutes of playtime, which is good, but I’m trying to get it to 10 minutes of playtime. How can I do this?

I’ve gone through the game myself, tweaking stages, adding a few new things to try and increase playtime but it’s not working. What can I do to increase the playtime to 10 minutes?

Tips: Decrease jetpack speed (Add gamepass which is letting increase speed if you want), make something like fuel for jetpack so you need to wait 1-2 minutes to fully refuel (refuel stations at checkpoints, I guess).

I really like the game you made, it is fun and quite hard in ending, but i tried to reach stage 50 and it took 17 minutes, well that means it is quite addicting until you reach the end and that is when most of your players left but that is at last, let’s talk about the first thing where people will look at most.

  1. Thumbnail:
    Thumbnail is made out of AI, well it looks cool, but I would say that you should actually hire a person to make the icon rather than AI because most obby games have a cartoony art style icons that make iPad kids click it more, and as of saying this Halloween is there, so most of the game has switched their icons Halloween type look and,

  2. Gameplay:

i really liked the gameplay and it is quite nice and looks likes good effort has made in it, but i would like to change it a little bit, first is jetpack, the jetpack has really cool mechanism but i think the speed is little too fast compared and that means player would complete it way faster, as some obby have more player time,

Now, second thing is that you should make more stages as 50 is not enough at least 100 or more should be needed to achieve the average of 10 min and more, I would like to advice to make more worlds were there are different times of stages and environment.

and last thing, is that you should add exclusive items that only are available for certain amount of time like Halloween special items!

i think this is all you need to achieve more player time and engage more player!
