Increasing server size to 700

I own an event game on the platform that easily gets 200+ players per rally. Upon trying to increase server size, I’m met an error:

Games like futuretops have a server capacity of 700 players, I am not sure how to replicate that. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Some creators have access to the Beta program, which allows for server sizes up to 700 players as part of Roblox’s beta testing.

So i take it that the Beta program can not be joined by casual developers?

You used to be able to opt-in / opt-out through a Forum post but this system is closed and according to “newest” info (info from 2023) will come back some day with a different way to opt-in.

Hey folks, locking the thread for clarity that we are not currently handling replies to this topic due to scaling concerns with the way we are currently handling this list of users internally. This will take another shape (not a forum thread) in the future, also to make it easier for you folks to roll into/out of features like this without needing to wait for us to modify a list.

Yeah, we do not run a platform-wide beta program anymore for new features, we run per-feature betas now. They are usually announced in the Updates category.

For the 700 player feature specifically, the latest info I got about it is that we are not touching that allow-list anymore because that feature is not stable enough to expand at this time, yet we didn’t want to take it away from users that already had it.
