Increasing session time on my game + FEEDBACKS

Hi guys!

I started to work on my new game, and I published it like 11 days ago.
I ve spent 22k on ads & sponsor so it can run on multiple days (11 sponsored ad days, 3 on search ads, 2 on sponsored ads with max bid)

The game only got 4k visits for now, it s growing but not as fast as I thought.
I saw that the recommendation for the average time on my genre is at least 7 minutes ( my game reaches 4.5 ).

I’ve also added playtime rewards, lobby expansion so they can move towards the zones to see the leaderboards / potion shop etc…

What can I do to improve it ?
What can I do to improve the AVG. session time?

I played the game for a little bit, and I already encountered quite a bit of problems. This is going to be very long, this is my honest feedback

1. Intermission

Just clicking the button to start the map is questionable but isn’t a bad idea. However, since there is a option of “AFK Mode” this isn’t always efficient. Also when a player starts, it just immediately starts and not a countdown. As well, you won’t be able to see the map that will be chosen

Solution

I would like to see a map voting system. As well an difficulty per map. This can make it a little bit more engaging as well looking forward to certain maps that might be more difficult/easier for some players. Also maybe swap the button to start the match, it can be just a countdown and maybe another short countdown before the match actually begins.

2. Maps

Given the randomize maps and not knowing the difficulty. A Short time of maps isn’t a bad idea. However, some more difficult maps may require more additional time, but I see every map is the same 20 second timer. Also, few maps are actually interesting, majority of the maps are just Parkour.

Solution

Love to see Variety besides just straight forward parkour maps. Maybe some additional twist like Events. You can take inspirations from Liquid Breakout That game has A LOT of unique events, I recommend looking into their events, that can give you some ideas. It includes, Thunder, Blackout, Fog, etc.

3. VIP

For only 2% increase in token? I understand some limits because the price is 90 Robux. However, VIP should be more valuable, this just feels like “Oh only get a increase of Token”

Solution

Do not take my feedback of VIP as “Add more stuff to VIP”. I would like something bit more like ChatTag “VIP [user]”. As well some Exclusive Rewards.

4. No Popups of Earning Tokens/Completion

I know there is a mini popup but they are not clearly visible. This is most knowing for Completing a Obby. You can complete it but there is barley a popup of “You completed the obby!” or “Token Earned: (Number)”.

Solution

Add more popups or make the popups clearly visible. This can severely help out with players feeling that actually got something. Some good examples is Pet Simulator 99. I know that game is controversial, but in terms of popups. That game does give good examples. Please Don’t try to have random popups, just rewarded pop ups

Those are my main critics for the game. This game has good potential to be popular, just those issues can help the players be in the game a little bit more.

Keynote, adding something like “Daily Rewards” will not always help, maybe some quest system isn’t a bad idea but again, it won’t always help of keeping players in the game

Noted, the VIP also has a tag for it + a chat tag, besides that it has the 2 * token reward+ some VFX on your character making you look “cooler”
