It would be beneficial to any and everyone using the trade feature on the site when viewing their “inbound” trades to be able to see immediately whether or not the items they have been offered are still owned by the other side.
I receive dozens of trades a day, a lot of which I think come from bots but I digress, and I often want to go back through some of the older ones to see if they have become more “profitable” to accept. This means I have to scroll through 100+ trades and determine whether or not I should accept or decline the trade.
The following image is an example of a trade I have inbound:
All I want would be the ability to see immediately whether or not it’s still possible to complete this trade. Previously with the older tab I would be able to click “counter” to see if this user still has those items. Doing that with the new tab and clicking back takes me to the beginning of my trades and I have to scroll down again.
To check if they still own these items I have to click their profile and open in a new window, click trade and manually navigate their inventories and then if they have multiple copies, cross reference the IDs if if it’s even possible. And that has to be done on all of the trades I am still interested in.
It’s a ridiculously time consuming process which could be circumvented with a simple update, where for example items that have been offered to you in trades appear blurred or grayed out where the “owner” is no longer in possession of them.
Annoyingly I’m trying to explain a trading problem to non-traders but this is a serious annoyance to us.
