Custom Creation Rules
Design & Looks
DL-11
Custom uniforms should not look abhorrent. Regardless of whether you or your “client” thinks it looks nice, it’s going to be rejected. This is the most important rule.
DL-21
You can only make recolors of uniforms. Does not apply to uniforms made for RO+, or slight retextures that do not violate DL-11.
DL-22
Pink customs should not in any way, shape or form replicate the Swagiforms. (Same shade of pink, same type of uniform, etc.)
DL-23
When reusing parts from other uniforms, you may only change out the armband, shoes, gloves, or logos.
DL-31
Customs must be uploaded correctly. This means that there mustn’t be any parts of the template visible, including the red lines.
DL-41
Customs with trench coats can only be made for ST+.
DL-51
Uniforms must not have any images that are non-Innovation related on them.
DL-61
Names on uniforms must be blended in with the vest. (Preferably use the same colors as other text on the vest.)
DL-71
No titles other than your own rank.
DL-81
The maximum amount of colours on one uniform is three.
DL-82
Gradients are an exception, they should only include two. (For example Red → Orange → Yellow is not permitted.)
DL-91
Vest/Fur/Armband/Shoes may not be recoloured.
Ownership
O-12
You may only receive 2 customs per month. Does not apply to RO+. (This is to avoid a flood of requests.)
O-21
Customs can only be worn and/or owned by individuals that own the original uniform of said customs.
O-22
Customs of uniforms which are no longer on sale cannot be made.
O-23
Customs of uniforms which are only on sale for a short limited time (like seasonal uniforms) cannot be made.
O-31
Customs must be approved before they can be uploaded. Do not spam the uniform approvers.
O-32
Uniforms may only be used after 24 hours following the request have passed.
O-33
If no verdict has been given after 24 hours, you may consult the Uniform Approvers. If no reason is given, you may repost your request.
O-34
When sending in a custom, upload the actual files. Do not use embed links, as those can break if the original file is deleted.
O-41
Credit to the original creator of the uniform has to be given on the template.
If permission is granted, then you may use/upload the custom. If you’re planning on making/using customs, know these rules. It should be common sense to do this on your own so that you’re not wasting your time, but just in case, you’re expected to check that your custom/the person you’re making a custom for follows all these rules. This means checking for things like O-12 and O-21.
