Truly great items! I just find it a bit unfortunate that the new one focuses a bit more on layered clothing instead of actual accessories.
Still a great series 2 regardless!
Yall realize that the definition of game quality has been compromised ever since gag and brainrot borrowing, right? I hope there’s some measure in place to where a basic studded map with minimal gameplay (unless the theme makes such a thing impossible) won’t get top prize
I have some questions. Ml they will be unanswered, but I still must ask them.
If some questions are stupid or you just don’t want to answer them - skip it, but please don’t just ignore other questions.
Question 1
What are criterias for this category? Definition of good game has been said here, but what will be exactly measured? I can make Grow a Garden in a day - will such game be qualified as good overally?
This question more goes to the direction if it matters how we make VFX, SFX, textures, plan overall gameplay, or even if they are just plain they can have some chance to win?
This question raises due to the how Roblox platform has “evolved”, sorry.
Question 2
If user which won don’t wants/can’t/is not aligable to go to RDC, what prize they will earn? GoGift cards or their prize will be passed further?
Question 3
Does game itself matters for this category? Or it can be just showcase but which is translated to 100 diffirent languages, supports all sorts of disabled people, and is made to end all wars and unite everyone?
Question 4
If I not aim for this category, will non-existance of trailer make impact on other categories?
I was looking forward to participating in the Inspire 2025 gamejam and we would like to have 3 more team members to have a full team!
We’ve previously worked on the game: The Electrician in the Slingshot Game Jam 2024, and I am currently working on a personal project about a Puzzle coop game.
If you have some other roles you can also contact me telling your experience.
Requirements:
Be active in the development
Be able to communicate by discord
Have experience in your field
Don’t forget that the most important thing is to make a cool game which we are proud of!
If you are interested in participating send a message indicating your skills and showing some things you have worked on to @divad008 in a Direct Message in the Development Forum.
So, there are 5 categories with 3 winners and an extra one, “Best overall experience”, with only one winner who will recieve RDC invitation? Or will this category have the same rules as other ones and the only difference is that the winning team will get a flight to RDC?
I wouldn’t say “fail”, i mean, there are really good developers out there, and just because you didn’t won doesn’t mean you’re not good. Everyone has different style of developing..
