In this document, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to install all of our airplane seats.
1: Game Settings
To begin, let’s enabled the proper security settings in each of your games/airports that are necessary for our products to work properly.
Steps
1st) Open your game’s Game Settings.
2nd) On the Security tab, enable “Allow HTTP Requests” and “Enabled Studio Access to API Services”.
2: Moving the Seats
Now, let’s insert the airplane seats into Roblox Studio, and let’s move them to your plane.
Steps
1st) Drag and drop the product file into Roblox Studio.
(Optional) Change Seat Color
1st) Locate the seat cushions.
2nd) Change the color of each texture to your color of choice.
– Resume installation –
2nd) Select a model.
3rd) While hold down the Ctrl or Command key on your keyboard, select the other model.
4th) Move the airplane seat into your plane using the Move tool. Rotate if needed. (Repeat steps 2-4 for any other airplane seats)
Warning
If the following happens, you’ll need to either immediately undo the movement or re-insert a new copy of the airplane seats, as this breaks the animation motors:
5th) With both airplane seat models selected (ex: EC Seat V2
& (EC) Animation Parts
), duplicate as needed. (It is recommended that you use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + D
3: Installation
Now, let’s place the airplane seat models into the correct folders in your airplane (via the Explorer pane). Please select the PlaneKit below that matches your plane’s PlaneKit the closest.
CM32 (Standard)
(CM32 PlaneKit Example)
1st) On your Explorer pane, select all of the Animation Parts models (hold Shift while selecting).
2nd) Once you have them selected, group them together (Ctrl + G). (Rename the model if you’d like)
3rd) Place the newly-created model in your plane, just outside of the PlaneKit model (as shown below).
4th) Select the folder the airplane seats came in, and place it in the OtherParts
model within your plane (as shown below).
Note
If your PlaneKit doesn’t have a model named
OtherParts
but has a model calledFuselage
,Interior
, orBody
, place the folder the airplane seats came in there.
5th) Publish your game to Roblox, and test! Ensure you’ve followed all the steps listed above in order and correctly. See below if you need additional support.
Vuela
(Vuela PlaneKit Example)
1st) On your Explorer pane, select all of the Animation Parts models (hold Shift while selecting).
2nd) Once you have them selected, group them together (Ctrl + G). (Rename the model if you’d like)
3rd) Place the newly-created model in the AnimationModels
folder within your plane.
4th) Select the folder the airplane seats came in, and place it in the OtherParts
model within your plane (as shown below).
5th) Publish your game to Roblox, and test! Ensure you’ve followed all the steps listed above in order and correctly. See below if you need additional support.
SKYTech
(SKYTech PlaneKit Example)
1st) On your Explorer pane, select all of the Animation Parts models (hold Shift while selecting).
2nd) Once you have them selected, group them together (Ctrl + G). (Rename the model if you’d like)
3rd) Place the newly-created model in the Animations
model within your plane.
4th) Select the folder the airplane seats came in, and place it in the Body
model within your plane (as shown below).
5th) Publish your game to Roblox, and test! Ensure you’ve followed all the steps listed above in order and correctly. See below if you need additional support.
