Intellisense autocomplete favors double quotes

Recently it seems, Roblox have pushed an update to the Studio IDE which helps developers pick from a list of classes when using the Instance:IsA() function. This is good, however when using this feature, intellisense replaces my single quote with double quotes. This is clearly subjective preference, but I would prefer if intellisense were intelligent enough to at least detect that I used a single quote first.

Edit: This appears to affect game:GetService() in the same fashion.

This alone has caused my work hours to move themselves to Sublime; it’s like forcing newline brackets on someone who does the clearly superior statement {.

It’s been ~2 months. Can any engineers tell me if this is in the fix pipeline, or if this is this permanent?

Autocomplete should probably respect type of quote used.

Reproduce:

  1. Type game:GetService('Pla
  2. Press Enter to autocomplete
  3. Observe that first quote changes to double quote, as well as the newly created one at end.
