Updated post is here:
Welcome to the HD Admin Intern programme! This guide will cover all the information on joining the team, using Trello and publishing commands, so please read carefully and soak it all in!
Geting Started
First things first…
-
Join the HD Admin group. This is where we handle payments. After two successful packs, you will receive the Contributor role.
-
Become familiar with the Creating a Command page. This covers a range of key information that is vital for you to understand when creating commands for HD Admin.
-
Ping @Manager in #Verify with your Roblox username and email address or Trello username. Afterwards, we’ll verify that you are you, then invite you to the Trello where the fun begins.
Using Trello
Once invited, head on over to the HD Admin Trello. There are three key Boards: Bugs, Commands and Core Features:
Commands
The Commands Board is where commands are suggested, created and published. There are 5 lists to assist with this process:
1. Command Ideas
- Think of an idea? Add it to this list!
- Make sure to include an explanation of it’s function and any arguments.
2. Packs To-Do
- These are organised groups of 5 commands ready to be worked on.
- There are two types of packs:
- Free commands - commands added directly to the Commands list, free of use
- Pack commands - commands which are sold as packs. If making a pack command, aim for the command to be of the rank ‘VIP (1)’.
- Feel free to create your own pack using ‘Command Ideas’ or your own! Alternatively, you can use a pre-organised pack if one exists.
- Important: Make sure the commands in your pack have not already been made. To do this, briefly scan through everyone else’s cards and become familiar with the commands in the MainModule (displayed on the in-game Commands page).
- Ready to begin? Select a pack and drag it to ‘Packs In-Progress’.
- Make sure to add yourself as a ‘Member’ of the card so we know who’s working on what
3. Packs In-Progress
- This shows others what you are working on
- Tick off commands from the checklist as you complete them
- Once the pack is complete, drag the card into ‘Completed Packs’
4. Completed Packs
- This is the area for completed packs waiting to be approved by a Lead member
- In your card, make sure to include:
- Your username
- A file of your command creation place
- Any further details (e.g. "I placed ‘xyz’ in the server Assets folder for ‘abc’ command).
5. Approved Packs
- A Lead member will verify the commands in your pack and transfer it to ‘Approved’ if successful.
- Packs in ‘Approved Packs’ will be paid for accordingly and removed once added to the MainModule.
- For security reasons, do not to modify a card after it has been approved without informing a Lead member first. Doing so will require your pack to be re-evaluated.
Payment
You’ll receive payment per ‘pack’ (a group of five commands ). Payment varies depending on the complexity of the pack:
-
Simple
- ~25 USD (7500 R$)
- Very basic commands which take minimal time to complete (e.g. ;fieldOfView)
-
Standard
- ~50 USD (15,000 R$)
- Slightly more challenging commands which require more thought and time (e.g. ;icecream)
-
Complex
- 75+ USD (22,500 R$)
- Sophisticated commands of great complexity which require significantly more time to complete (e.g. !laserEyes)
This works out to about 10-20 USD/hour which can increase as you become more familiar with the command creation process and core functions.
Payments and handled via the HD Admin group and processed after the creation and approval of your command pack.
