I have been working on this all summer. It’s a hub-world for all my other builds, with an idea sprouted by the Star Tours attractions found at Disney parks around the world. I decided to go with a classic stud/inlet style with this one, and use some more modern building techniques to make it stand out more. It serves as a homebase for my other showcases, and will be expanded on more in the future.
Retro-style builds that utilize modern Roblox technology have always been my fancy. It’s a hard feeling to describe but If I had to I would say it’s a sort of old-meets-new and converges to create something beautifully in the middle.
I love this. Its a totally spacey industrial retro style. I envy your skills, would you have any tips or suggestions on how to make this style come to life?
stick to the grid! 99% of the build was built on a 1 stud grid locked to 45 degrees! once you finished just about everything, then break the rules and tweak things where need be. also have a vision! this build came from my head but is based off of different concepts like the Star Tours rides at disneyland and other space airport type of builds.
