Development Progress

Promotions
At Suburban Bites, we want promotions to feel rewarding and meaningful. We believe every promotion should reflect the time, effort, and dedication our staff put into the community.
There are two primary ways to earn promotions:
Promotional Sessions
Throughout your journey, you’ll have opportunities to attend promotional sessions where our management team will evaluate your performance, professionalism, communication, and understanding of restaurant procedures. Successfully completing these sessions may earn you your next promotion.
Point System
Alongside promotional sessions, we’ve introduced a point-based progression system.
By earning enough points, eligible staff members may be automatically promoted, rewarding those who consistently dedicate their time to helping Suburban Bites grow.
Whether you prefer attending promotional sessions or simply demonstrating your commitment through consistent activity, both paths provide exciting opportunities to progress through our ranks.
Our point system is designed with two goals in mind.
First, it rewards commitment. Every point represents the time and effort you’ve invested into Suburban Bites, whether that’s serving customers, helping the community, or contributing to the success of our restaurant.
Secondly, it’s a way to showcase your dedication. Your points reflect your activity and allow everyone to see just how committed you’ve been. Think of it as a badge of honour—a friendly way to show off the hard work you’ve put into the community.
Points can be earned through a variety of activities, including:
- Working restaurant shifts (with double point rewards during official Shift Sessions).
- Hosting training sessions (Assistant Managers and above).
Hosting promotional sessions (Assistant Managers and above).
Participating in special community events and future activities.
We’re always looking at new ways to reward active members, so expect even more opportunities to earn points in the future.

Responsible for announcements, community engagement, partnerships, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Focused on educating and developing our staff through structured training sessions and professional guidance.

Looking Ahead
While we’re incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made so far, this is only the beginning.
We’re currently developing a range of exciting features, including our dedicated Human Resources platform, Orbit, which will power staff management, activity tracking, promotions, and much more. Players will also be able to compete on leaderboards, track their activity, and, later in development, experience an interactive kitchen designed to make every shift even more immersive.
Alongside these systems, you can look forward to community nights, giveaways, sneak peeks, seasonal content, and plenty of surprises as we continue expanding the Suburban Bites experience.
