Introducing Talent Hub Open Beta - New Platform to Find & Post Work!

i believe the reason why the bio and experience parts don’t work all the time is because there’s a message filter. for me it works if i remove some words, so maybe try that. I guess they just don’t have a pop-up showing that the text was not accepted.

I think every devforum member gets access to it.

This is so frustrating! I tried to give the Talent Hub a try today, since it’s getting close to October 1st. But, the character limit (which is only 500 characters) on the bio barely gives me enough space to type a full introduction, and showcase some of my work. I couldn’t even say what I do!

Imagine if I used headers, or wanted to add more pictures. They should really get rid of the character limit, I see no purpose for it.

One thing I think would be a great feature is have categories for pay amount and complexity(advanced/intermediate/basic) so you can sort through what your skill is, and you can also find higher paying stuff. Obviously this would work great with the filters too.

That is a good idea but it has a lot of downsides to it. For instance how does one categorize their skills when a lot of different things can seem more difficult to some when the same thing might not to others? It would be creating unnecessary labels and boxes that will in most cases only bring down other users.

True but this can be optional, and maybe there could be some confusion, but a pathfinding system and a color changing block would definitely be in different categories.

I like this, it helps clear up the dev forms at makes it easier to find people for hire. My only issue is using it on mobile.

There is some bug and others can’t see my profile… Anyway to fix it?

They are a few reason why this could happen :
1.Make sure that in “Page Visibility” the “visible to public” option is checked.
2.If you aren’t verified, people can’t see your profile when they search for creators unless they uncheck the “verified only” option which is checked by default.

Verification is currently done manually by Roblox.

Im extremely excited to be part of the Talent hub so I was wondering when is the new wave of users or when is gonna completely roll out to the public.

Also do you still require to have parental PIN off or was that requirement removed?

Are there restrictions for who can join? (How long they’ve used roblox studio; how long they’ve been on roblox; age restrictions).

If none, I’m excited to use the talent hub next Friday!

This is a really great step towards building a stronger developer community, Really excited to try it when it’s fully out!

I’ve been checking like 3 times a week and I still don’t have it…
