I KNOW RIGHT. I had the same reaction when I found out. Luckily, though, it only appears on some posts.
You probably made a guess when writing this topic, and I’m assuming it hasn’t happened to you. It has to me though, and my post got moderated. After that, the only thing I did was remove the years’ amount of experience I had, and then it was alright. In general don’t reply to people unless you actually know :I
Don’t mistake a one-off moderation error for a policy. You should just have appealed that mistake.
It’s not correct interpretation of the moderator to block your post for “private info” because the years of experience are deduced from your list of Experiences on your portfolio anyway.
In general, I love this addition. Although, I’ve encountered one main issue with it. People just won’t respond. It would be nice if the talent hub sent a message to your Roblox account, or the devforum account. I have applied for several jobs, and they don’t even decline. The message just sits there, because they never actually go back to the talent hub after posting applications.
And yes, I know that this is a problem for only specific users, but I think that a cross-website messaging service would make this so much easier.
If the Job Poster has settings where they can’t interact with unverified users, you cannot apply to their job if you yourself are unverified, because this would then be bypassing their settings.
I think that this is not a bad feature for people that absolutely want to be sure they are working with someone serious, and if you have a problem with that @DeveloperAusttm, well verify your age i guess
Please consider increasing the Bio text limit, it’s a very low limit right now.
It was already mentionned a hole lot of times and they said that they are working on it
I have see that many investment type of post in the Talent hub. I wondering if is allowed.
Same. It wasn’t allowed on the devforum, so that’s a good question…
Mhm! I know is not allowed in DevForum, but it seem allowed in Talent Hub. Because your post need to be double check by moderation team before your post go public.
"This content is pending moderation and not currently visible in search." -
I've been on Talent Hub since one of the earlier phases of the open beta, and had verified my account very quickly after that feature was released. Since then, I posted one job post that had garnered quite a few applications, which makes me assume my post was visible and public. I'm not 100% sure when this moderation feature was implemented, but seeing posts from as early as November, I am curious whether something directly triggered this, or if I simply haven't been manually reviewed yet since this feature came out. The latest interaction I've had on the Talent Hub was actually getting an invitation from someone for their job post, which was in mid-December which is after the first mentions of 'pending moderation'.
I’m just curious if it was something that I just haven’t noticed until now, or if there is a reason it would’ve triggered recently.
EDIT: It disappeared - interesting, I guess.
Can I link offsite videos relating to the experience in question?
Ironically, mine was fixed after complaining on here as well. See my original reply to this thread.
I’m curious, did this happen after creating an account PIN? When it happened to me, I created an account PIN and checked Talent Hub shortly after and found that. It would be weird, since I thought they removed the restriction against PINs but it might explain why it happened to you numerous times.
I disabled the account pin due to issues with other beta tests and enabled 2FA which was meant to resolve the issue with account pins. Since then my account hasn’t been adjusted but my Talent Hub verified access continues being adjusted.
Unfortunately, I wish it were that simple.
They did not removed the PIN restriction :
BUT since it looks like you verified with an ID the PIN restrictions should be gone. So I don’t think it has anything to do with the PIN…
When you make a job post, it always passes through moderation first. You don’t need to worry about that.
(Also to everyone else, this is normal!)
I don’t think you understand the issue. What he is saying is that his profile had the pending moderation during a lot of time, which is not normal
To those looking to hire: Allowed to specify minimum age in job listing.
(Example: You have to be 14+ to get accepted.)
To those wanting to be hired: Not allowed to specify your age range in bio.
You can’t even be vague about it like saying: Adult (20+) to give the recruiter notice that you are in fact not 14.
Instead your profile gets removed from search for personal information:
So just a heads up to edit your bio and remove any reference to your age if you have posted it.
