I have question on this website I want to hire scripter but I can’t like I already found one but I can’t invite him why?
They’re probably not open for invitation to job.
It’s a bug since he’s marked open for work, maybe you got a warning on your account (maybe by mistake) so you can’t invite him or you aren’t ID verified and this guy set that non-verified people can’t invite him…
Hi!
I checked w/ our team, and it seems like you did file a report. This message is in response to said report. Apologies for the confusion, but we’re still in the process of finalizing the template, that’s why it looks a bit weird w/ the tags.
Thank you, could you possibly DM me which post I reported though? Because I don’t recall reporting anything myself.
So far I’m absolutely loving the talent hub, and am embracing it as a step forward in creator collaboration and communication. My only real issue this far though has been that I am a creator who produces large amounts of assets for my friends games and there isn’t currently a system on the Talent Hub to showcase large amounts of work, such as the 34 unique ships I have made for one game. I feel like the image cap on projects should be made greater, or provisions made for another method of showcasing large amounts of work.
Will anything like this become available in future?
While I’m super excited for Talent Hub and how Roblox is streamlining recruiting on the platform, it definitely feels that this has created problems that have never been addressed after the tool was shipped to the platform.
Talent Hub is amazing, but it’s user inteface has a critical flaw for every groundbreaking benefit it brings to the table, and it seems any changes to remedy the flaws have come too little too late.
For me, as a Robloxian who actively has to hire teams of developers and simultaneously build/display portfolios, sore spots include only being able to see 2-5 posts at a time when there are thousands, character limits on the post itself pressured by the interface or as @Jorbunga mentioned above restrictions on banalities such as images, that overall, do not seem to consider most Robloxians’ portfolios in the UX.
That said Talent Hub has some truly incredible solutions to previous problems such as discoverability, including like tags and categories for duration of work, compensation and aspects of development, which are very effective in practice.
And on that note, I want to thank everyone at Roblox who worked hard to make this happen for the platform, as I understand the new step the platform has taken in this regard is both a big and beneficial one.
However, It feels that there has not been enough polishing or attention to community feedback to deliver completely on something the Robloxians, who were forced to change from Devforum (which worked better for their needs) would love using, were it not unusable.
They’re literally open to work.
I’ve noticed that when I apply, many times, it doesn’t show me the conversation in the inbox section. Also, many of my previous conversations will disappear and reappear. it seems like the inbox is pretty buggy.
It’s pretty bad that you’ve had to remove portfolios, many people wanna see peoples portfolio.
I don’t know why, but people can’t see my profile. Is it possible to get banned from talent hub?
I don’t think you can get banned from the hub itself, but a lot of users are using a filter to only show verified people,so if you aren’t verified, that can be an issue, also check your profile for warnings, it might per example say you put a link to something, which you can’t do , if it’s the case remove what seems to be the issue, sometimes the warnings can be very vague, or just will stay there even if you remove everything, in this case, I’d suggest writing to @peraldon I guess…
Every time I want to access the Talent hub, this shows up:
Did my account get deleted or is the Talent Hub down right now?
same goes for me
it was working a while ago but now its telling me im not qualified
UPDATE
it got fixed somehow
you can still message them (not sure)
but you can’t delete or edit it i guess
really messy
<13 users can’t use the Talent Hub, and it’s the same with the DevForum.
Yes I just checked before returning to the thread, I can also access the hub. Still not verified though since I don’t want to give away my passport… sigh
DM @.peraldon, they should be able to help with that.
Should I post my portfolio on DevForum or Talent Hub? Because I can’t find a place to do my portfolio on Talent Hub other than my BIO, sorry if this is a stupid question.
If you are unsure, then its ok if you choose both.
