Because, it’s two different styles. The visual design in Only One Rule feels very Portal and in my opinion is great. Also, you only provided one screenshot of Only One Rule.
kosovo is the sworn enemy of the jam community now
I didnt called this work bad, but there are a lot of that the builder can imorive in his works!
First of all he can union all of the wall parts and only then add the texture to avoid these intersections
And also most importantly, he need to add this helpful parts on the edges of walls to make the room volume better, like in sketch that I made below in 5 minutes
I’ll just say that VISUALS most of the time is associated with game graphics. I understand that this was my mistake to invite the lazy scripter who worked only last 2 days, but he was lazy because he hoped that you are going to evaluate the visuals of the game.
Architecture is one of the most complicated job for a 3D modeler. I’ve had a lot of experience in this field of activity.
I understand that I cant really make anything now - the results were shown, but I hope my feedback will be adressed - dont make game jams last more than a week. 17 days is a huge span of time, and while making this game jam, I’ve lost around 100USD due to the my business in this
Edit: I hope that the judges of visual design are really good in their field of activity
I’m going to be frankly honest, if it was put up to a vote on if Kosovo was recognized as a real nation. Every single participant of this event would probably vote no. People literally had to find some guy from Kosovo to join. (this is a joke by the way)
Its population is 1.9 million, of which I doubt many play Roblox, less of which are developers .
I must say yours looks really really good
WOW!! I am completely shocked to have won 1st place for the Most Engaging Experience category. Thank you and congratulations to the other winners and participants of this challenge, you all made some incredible things!
i know some kosovo guy said he was gate keeping it by not joining so its kinda intentional because so few from kosovo play roblox
dude my city alone almost beats that population lol
Vatican City has a population of 800, thankfully people in Rome could count as Vatican City.
When do you think the items will be awarded?
Congrats to all the other winners! Very cool games!
it was really cool gamejam , the main purpose is not to win , but to find new friends and imrove skills
Big congratulations to the winners! With Unite 2024 coming to a close, I wonder how many people in total are receiving this elusive backpack
i have no bone in this but I’d like to point out that the intersection is on purpose, for that level specifically you’re supposed to go on it to advance due to how the level is designed. Maybe play the game before you bash it
Huge congrats to the winners of the jam!! My team and I had to scramble towards the end, but the experience was a blast, especially getting all these flags
Looking forward to the backpack
(edit: leaderboard didn’t update when I took the screenshot but I did manage the 48th)
Yes I have completed some levels and in this one the player can’t jump. Maybe this intersection is necessary to be more visible for a player, however you still was able to union these 2 parts to make it the joint between them better. I understand that visibility will be worse, however it still will not that difficult to spot.
It’s always a bit unpleasant to read the critique of your own jobs, I understand, however you really need to try the the creation of volume by adding helpful parts how I said above that. I was a bit unpleasant too, since I’ve got more experience and have spent probably more time on my work
Congratulations to everyone even though a lot didn’t win your hard work and dedication were cool keep up the great work everyone follow your dreams
We are already working on it and should be able to deliver the prizes soon!
