Hey everyone! Iām PieSupport or Pie, I found this site awhile ago from a friend. I started development a few years ago when I found a interest to make my own game and have been working on projects since. My goals on the forums are to increase my knowledge of development and more specifically scripting. My role in the community is scripting and I strive to produce the best possible product I can. Hello! I am BlocksBuildUp, I joined ROBLOX back in 2012 on an older account.
I found ROBLOX from an official ad and it really intrigued me to create an account to join this platform! I started to experiment with studio back in 2014 and I built simple things such as houses, vehicle models, landmark recreations, etc. 2018 was when I started to learn how to code with the LUA Language in ROBLOX Studio. I learned lots of new things throughout learning how, and I canāt wait to see what I am to create in the future! The forums are a great place to learn new things and even help others learn as well! It is a huge honor to be invited to the Developer Forums. My goal is to create new and original games that players would love to play! My role for this community is a āProgrammerā. Thank you!

So, I donāt remember the story exactly but uh it went like thisā¦
- Me: Hey friend im bored, you know something we could do?
- Friend: Oh man I found this awesome game called Roblox, shall we give it a try?
- Me: Sure!
and now im here.
When I played some cool games I thought to myself: āOh man it would be awesome if I could do this stuff too!ā and again, now Iām hereā¦? yeah.
My development journey began in january of 2013 I think?
My current goals on this platform areā¦ 
ā¦not even sure right nowā¦
ā¦get better at various things such as making models or something?
ā¦help the community as much as possible?

Hi, Iām Nightcaller!
I started using Roblox back in 2008 both as a player and a developer on the account Zombieman2121. Iām the creator of Homestead, what used to be Roblox Mall and several other small projects. Iāve browsed the forum for quite some time now (not signed in) and recently decided āI need to become an active userā for my personal and professional development.
1. How did you find Roblox?
- I found Roblox through my little brother. He always knew what platforms/games were trending. He made a Player, I made a Player. We played together. It was great. Some of the first games I remember playing were those simple Slide games where you slide down a huge slope and try to land on a platform with all the tool givers. Beyond that I remember the most popular games at the time were very classic Tycoons, Cart Rides, Obbys with lots of bugs.
2. How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
- When I young I remember not enough satisfaction with the games I was playing. There was always some missing aspect that I really wanted to experience. Therefore my curiosity lead to my exploration through Roblox Studio. I also loved the community aspect of Roblox. I always want to create a place for multiple people to have fun.
3. Current goals/achievements on the platform?
- My goal is to create long lasting front page games that people will get those nostalgic feelings later in life. Also Iām approaching the end of my college career so post college I want to spend as much time as I can making a career out of the things I enjoy doing most (creating content for Roblox).
4. What is your role in the developer community? (eg. GFX, UI Designer, Programmer, Builder etc)
- I think I fit all these categoriesā¦ But overall my top focus role is Programmer.
- GFX - I was a Vector and Raster Logo Graphic designer for 2 different print shops for 4 years + I have two years of graphic communications class education. Post my employment as a designer Iāve had several design projects from friends and local businesses. I donāt love designing but I donāt hate it. I just have a feeling designing will haunt me till the day I die.
- UX - I love enhancing UI and UX whenever itās needed. I think in most of my recent projects this is my top priority.
- Programmer - Iām currently going to college for a āComputer Science of Engineering Degreeā with a minor in āDigital Interactive Gaming Technologyā. I spent two years in Community College working towards a āProgramming Emphasisā. I was a webdeveloper for a company for 1 year as well as I freelanced websites. I would say this is my strongest and weakest skill.
- Builder/3D modeler - I have quite a bit of experience with building and 3D modeling. Iāve used a wide range of software tools to make things great (Sketchup, Blender, 3DS MAX, etc). But I try not to spend too much time doing these things. Ugly things look beautiful too, itās all about perspective.
5. Anything else you would like to include
- Iām going to RDC 2019!!! This will be my first time, so excited.
- Iām also really happy to be a new member of the forum and excited to meet lots of developers.

First off, Iād like to introduce myself, my nameās Teeth and Iām new to the Developer Forum. My nameās a story for another day so just ignore it.
I found Roblox through word of mouth back in 2015.
Iām sure at least one person can relate with me on this one, my friend and I thought we could just make a game no problem. After that, I took a few year break and came back after realizing the opportunities on this platform.
Iād like to finish off my first game (full complete game with effort put into it) while continuing to work on perfecting my skills. My end game goal is to create a successful game that I myself, as well as others enjoy. I feel like thereās too many games just trying to make a profit that the developers themselves donāt enjoy.
Iām mainly focusing on my scripting, although I do a lot of UI design, animating, and 3D modeling.
