How did you find Roblox? Back in 2010, saw an advertisement for it on another website and played as a guest for 2 years, made an account and progressed.
How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform? Honestly, I can't really remember.
Current goals/achievements on the platform: Working on a fully customised game, can't give much details out as of yet.
What is your role in the developer community? (eg. GFX, UI Designer, Programmer, Builder etc) All of the above

Hello! Iām new here just like everyone else replying to this message but I am very glad I am able to be a Devforum new member.
Anyhow I am a builder so I clearly specialize in building and I love to work on and build realistic buildings and or models by using CSG (Which is my speciality), also does some basic scripting and UI. Currently working on a tavern based from taverns during the Pirate Age in the Carribean and doing smaller commissions. Iāve been developing for around 2 years but has recently had a 1 year break and starting to get back into more developing again for the last few moths.
My latest finished game (and my first actual game released) was a showcase called āThe Walking Dead Showcaseā which featured an exact copy of the 1973 Winnebago Chieftain motorhome amongst many other things! (Go check it out)
I am trying to get even better at developing and give myself wider knowledge of developing on the Roblox platform and hopes to put out a nice, fun and successful game in the near future. Thank you for reading! //ItsRickGrimes

Hello people. Like the others here I am new to the Forums. I mainly script assets such as Roblox Police Emergency Lighting, make use of Data Stores and I am currently learning HTTP requests for a project I am working on.
Although I do this I am also a web designer/developer that utilities PHP and MySQL databases to make online applications.
Fun fact: My next project is connecting a police CAD to a game that runs in a web browser using HTTP requests.

Being accepted into the to ROBLOX Devforum is a tremendous honor. I myself have working really hard for this opportunity and itās wonderful to be apart of this community.
The last time I recall hearing about Roblox was by a friend, and mostly played as a guest. I happily got help from my friend since I didnāt know how to make a Roblox account, sounds weird but I was young lol. As you know, members of the Devforum all have different achievements that we all want to achieve. Some big achievements and small ones. No matter what it is, it still does show extreme dedication of what they want. Personally, creating a game that people like to play, enjoy and put a smile on someoneās face is powerful. As time went on playing Roblox, I started to really take a look at the designs and the work creators and developers put into their game. Around that time I figured out what Roblox Studio was placed my first brick. It all started from there. Once again, it is an honor being in this community and hope to make a good difference!

Hey all. Iāll answer some questions and Iāll talk a little bit more about myself after:
I started playing Roblox in 2011. I donāt remember how I discovered it.
Though Iāve been playing for over 8 years now, Iāve only been developing for a few years.
Iād like to work on an actual game instead of just messing around and making stuff in studio.
I do a lot of stuff. My strong suits are front-end web development, graphic design, and UI design. Iām also quite decent at Building, Modelling, and back-end web development. I want to get more into Lua programming. I know C# and some Python so that hopefully wonāt be too hard.
Iām 16, I was born in Russia, and I lived there for the first 8 years of my life. I now live the NYC suburbs in the United States. Iām fluently bilingual and have been to like 8 or 9 countries, I lost track.
Happy to be here, and looking forward to working with other developers!

Hello recently I got the ānew memberā rank and I am really happy about it.
I found about Roblox on youtube and I was very interested in playing the game so I launched my Xbox one and downloaded Roblox I was playing Roblox a lot it was in 2015 I think.
in 2017 I got my first gaming pc and I was very excited I was playing a lot of games and forgot about Roblox but when I found out that I could make my own games in Roblox I was excited so I started making games on Roblox and I loved it, I learned a lot of things about the development of games and even design, I recently bought a Canon camera and started making parkour movies. And I think if I never heard about Roblox Iāve would never learn about development and design and film making. When I was starting to make games on Roblox I used free models because I was too lazy to make my own assets and buildings but time flew very fast and I started to make my own builds and forgot about free models because I learned how to build, and so do all developers. Then I started to make thumbnails and logos, but Iām still learning about design. My goal is to become a successful developer and make amazing games. Also opening a development group in Roblox. And to become a gfx professional. My role in the development community is Builder and artist.
I recommend Roblox to all people that want to become a developer and etc.

Hello, I am a new member of the DevForum. I started using the DevForum months ago but just now received a promotion. I joined Roblox in 2013 and when I first joined I didnāt enjoy it but when I found out that I could create games I thought this was a very cool platform to be on and create games on.
I discovered Roblox through advertisements on other websites and I was looking for something new to play. My official development started nearly 2-3 years ago when I was learning how to script, which I was self-taught.
My goals for the Roblox platform is to improve at my building, scripting, art and music and to start collaborating with other developers on big projects.
My role in the developer community is Builder.
I hope my time here is worth it and I look forward to meeting other developers. Thank you :)!

Introduction
Greetings, I am a new member here on the Developer Forum and would like to say hello. Iām so grateful for being accepted to be apart of the community, thank you dearly.
I found ROBLOX through my close friends and peers at my school roughly 3 years ago and quickly began playing on the platform. A few months into playing I discovered that you could create your own games and so I messed around in ROBLOX Studio. I played with terrain, models, lighting, and parts and soon created my own builds, mainly self-taught.
My current goals on the ROBLOX platform are to improve at creating builds, terrain, lighting, etc. As well as completing my biggest project yet, which I will keep secret until I make a noted release day for it.
The role I am in the developer community is Builder.
I hope to be a helpful addition to the Developer Forum and I look forward to meeting you all. Thank you again.

Introduction
Hello, I am M_xpDev. As my name suggests, I am a scripter and GUI creator. I have been using DevForum for developing issues as a go-to help centre. I am extremely grateful for the promotion Iāve been given to New Member. I am honoured to be able to join this wonderful community, and I hope to play my part in it. I spend my free time making UI designs and scripting them to their various needs. I used to have another account, but it is a few years old. I am currently working on my UI designs and hope to improve them.
As Iāve said before, I am very grateful to be part of this community. I hope I can contribute to it as much as possible. My goals for now are to be a higher than average UI designer, and I am working very hard to get it. I look forward to meeting new developers along my way to my goal. It will be wonderful to see how other developers do their work.

1.) How did I find ROBLOX?
I found ROBLOX by a YouTube video I watched one day.
2.) I got started in development on the ROBLOX platform from my very first ROBLOX group I ever made which has swine shut down.
3.) My current goals on ROBLOX are to get better at developing, become a trusted developer, and hopefully be able to earn some real world currency via the Developer Exchange for my family.
4.) My role in the Developer Community is a Clothing Designer, Beginner Scripter, Builder, and a Modeler.
5.) Thereās not much else Iād like to include.
