Hello everyone, I’m Faris and I’ve been on Roblox since 2016.
I found about Roblox from one of my close friends. After 1 year on Roblox, I started wondering: “how do people actually make all these games” and then found out about the magic of Roblox Studio, after which I started making my own small games.
My current goals are meeting new people on this platform and sharing my opinions, while learning new stuff along the way.
I program Discord Bots in node.js and do a bit of Building, but I would also love to learn scripting one day. I am very happy to be a part of the club

Hi! I’m RedDeliciousApples, and I’ve been on Roblox for a year and a half, but only recently got into Roblox development.
- How did you find Roblox?
I first discovered Roblox sometime in late 2018, when my sister wanted me to sign up for a Roblox account.
I reluctantly agreed, thinking that I’d just play Roblox games for a day or two, then I’d get bored of it.
I was wrong, of course. The past year and a half that I’ve spent on Roblox was really fun, and I made lots of great friends.
- How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
When I first signed up for Roblox, I had thought of making my own game, but that thought sat at the backburner of my mind until a few weeks ago, when I found some courses for Blender online. I had heard that Roblox supported 3D models, so I started learning.
- Current goals/achievements on the platform
Right now I’m just making meshes to use in Roblox, but I’m sure I’ll think of a game idea soon enough.
- What is your role in the developer community? (eg. GFX, UI Designer, Programmer, Builder etc)
I’d say I’m a beginner modeler, but I do have some experience in programming, so I might explore coding in Lua at some point.

Hello my name is Nicholas and I’m a Developer on ROBLOX… get it Nicholas + Developer = Devolas. Anyways that’s besides the point I remember In class sometime in 2013, I learned about ROBLOX through a old friend of mine and I had fun ever since. The first time I started making games was with very interesting actually, ever since I started playing I was always amazed how ordinary people can create such fun games and I remember going to a friends house and talking about making a game. I knew nothing about programming at that time but he did so we decided to partner up and make our first game together and we have been working together ever since. Currently my role(s) in the community are as follows Builder, UI Designer, and Programmer at the moment I’m making games and having tons of fun on this platform and the community is very welcoming, I do not plan to stop anytime soon. 
Hey! I’m lowlycaptainamerica. I have been using Roblox since 2012. I found Roblox by searching an online game for a gameshow that I was a big fan of, Wipeout. I took days trying to search for it then I stumbled upon Roblox. I found this Wipeout obby that I was immediately interested in and gave it a try. Never knew that moment will be the start of something that I will enjoy for years to come.
When I started to play often, particularly Wipeout games, I was introduced to this competition that is hosted weekly and goes to YouTube. The thing is, due to my location, these were hosted at 2:30 in the morning for me. I was inspired by this thought of making a competition and hosting it on a convenient time for me and a couple of other people who weren’t able to play due to time restrictions as well. From then, developing games started to be my main reason to play Roblox, rather than playing games normally.
I now host one of the most well-known competition in the Wipeout community in Roblox, Roblox Wipeout. I have been hosting it for 4 years now and so far it had 4 seasons. From lacking competitors to compete at all back then, I started to have full servers for my weekly competition.
I am mostly a builder, I know how to script when it comes to obstacle mechanics, but that’s my limitation. I have been building since October of 2012 and have seen how much Roblox has improved over the years.
To end this off, I am very glad to be accepted into this community. I hope that I could do my part well and contribute to others as well! Thank you very much, everyone!

I am Milsylin. I have been striving to develop my building skills and have been getting better over the period that I have spend doing developing. I am wanting to learn some other skills in the near future such as creating UIs, scripting, doing GFX and designing clothing also; it would be great to have a range of skills!
I don’t tend to develop for groups but that is something that I would contemplate, most definitely! I have done some development for Little Dreamies Daycare such as creating some toy models for them but other than that, I tend to just do work for myself.
I have been in the ROBLOX community for 4 years now and it has been a delight to meet some of the friends that I have today over such a great platform. I’ll look forward to speaking to some of you.

Hi everyone! Newbie here!
I’ve been around the block as I’ve been making games professionally for 19 years, with a few AAA games behind my belt. Currently a Unity developer, but I’ve been trying my hand at Roblox over the last week while I went through the agonizing process of waiting to get my member status here and coming up with some very interesting stuff in the meantime. Without the forums to help me I think I would have crashed out at the first hurdle!
My hope is to make some cool plugins and games, and maybe a few tutorials too. I’m never good at writing tutorials though, so it’ll probably only be the first two from that list!

How did I find Roblox: I saw my cousin on the website back in 2016 but I didn’t register until 2018
How did I get started: I decided to ask my cousin what the game was and he replied to me “roblox” so I decided to make a account and I saw the create tab and clicked on it and downloaded Roblox studio.
My current goals: add more things to my game and become better at what I’m doing.
My role: I really love building, its so fun to mess around with and build stuff.
I wrote one of these a couple weeks ago but it didn’t have enough detail on the questions they asked and the community here is so helpful and I use this if I’m have trouble with something and I hope I can become better at building.
- I found ROBLOX in 2007 thanks to my neighbour. I invited him to play Halo: Combat Evolved, but he was busy playing a game I had never heard of. At first sight it looked like a lego ripoff. After playing some games I didn’t understand with him, I was hooked. I loved the idea of a community where anyone could make games and play them with friends.
- In middle school I would print out dozens of pages from the roblox wiki regarding scripting. I never took to it well, so I focused on trading and ended up getting every item I ever wanted in the game before getting compromised and stolen from. Then, in my sophomore year of college I met a ROBLOX intern through a mutual friend. RBXZach inspired me to pick development back up and now I hope to go far!
- I recently helped make a game with a friend that amassed 20M visits, I’ve owned every item, my favourite being Dominus Empyreus (I dreamed of this item as a kid) and Domino Crown (everyone wanted one back when TheGamer101 got 2 of them.
- I’m a game designer! Trying to form my own dev team and work with friends to create fun games for a living.
- I have jotted down ideas in notebooks since I was little, even before ROBLOX (my uncle designed pc games back in 2006). I really hope to bring these ideas to life with the help of this forum.

How did I find Roblox?
Well, honestly I don’t remember, I joined back in 2014 when Guests were still a thing so I think I found out Roblox existed from a Youtuber(s) who made Roblox and gmod videos, they were called “VenturianTale”
How did I get started with development on the Roblox platform?
I wanted to start development on the Roblox platform to get more of a feel for how future development careers would work and as practice. I wanted to become a Programmer ever since in class one day there was this programming issue that everyone had to solve. I was the only person who solved it, not even our computer science teacher could figure it out. From that day forward, I wanted to be a programmer.
Current goals/achievements:
I’ve created 3 builds and have recently gotten 115 place visits. I currently want to learn all the advanced stuff of Roblox Scripting and also want to join a Roblox development team one day.
What is my role in the developer community?
I’m mainly a Programmer but I can build as well

The DevForum is amazingly helpful, and I use it almost everyday to help with my developing needs. I hope that I can be an important contributor and help community as much as it has helped me!
Who am I?
I’m DecodedMint, a programmer learning how to make awesome experiences for players at Roblox. This is my DevForum account; my main account with all of my creations can be found on my profile.
When did I find out about Roblox?
I think a friend told me about it, and I decided to try it out. I started playing Roblox in March of 2019.
What do I want to get out of developing?
Mainly, some useful life skills on computer coding and software. There’s so much to learn! I hope I can get the chance to use DevEx at least once, and create at least 5 awesome games.
I joined Roblox on early 2017. My 1st account was shared with my brother. Then summer 2017 i created the account i have to this day!
Pretty much i fell in love with game development when i was at my cousins and tried to make a game on Roblox Studio.
Now i’m making a game with my friends that should be released soon, hopefully it will be succesfull.
At the moment i’m a builder. I most like to build terrain and natural stuff.

When did I join Roblox?
I’ve been on Roblox since 2015, on a Guest account. In 2016 I decided to make my first account! A relative of mine told me to join and I thought I’d give it a try.
I never knew Studio existed until a couple of years ago when I was looking around the Roblox website.
What do I do as a Developer?
I’m primarily a Programmer, however I have done basic builds before. I am alright at other programming languages too!
What do I hope to get out of developing?
Experience mostly. I’d love to be able to DevEx someday in the future, but that’s a long way away from where I am now.
To Summarise…
I hope to be able to contribute to the community as much as I can! The DevForum has helped me in so many ways so far and I wish to give that back and help other people.

I found Roblox through my friends. I only joined the platform to play games, but I slowly built the interest on development.
I first started by watching some tutorials on YT, then I put them into action!
My achievements to become a successful builder, and to get pretty well known.
