I was recommended to play Roblox when I was young by a IRL friend.
2. How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
I forget because it was so long ago, but I believe I saw a game I loved to play and just wanted to recreate something like it. obviously got no where because it was my first project
3. Current goals/achievements on the platform
Current goals at the moment is to improve my mesh & scripting development skills and create a name for myself on Roblox.
4. What is your role in the developer community? (eg. GFX, UI Designer, Programmer, Builder etc)
Mesh developer and scripter.
5. Anything else you would like to include
Thatās pretty much it for me, Iām planning to use this forum though for a lot of problems and help I need solved along the way though. Also looking to show off my creations.

I found Roblox from one of my friends. It was very recently that I discovered how interesting Roblox can be. Before, I just though Roblox was another platform where you make games - waitā¦ you can make games!!?? , you can earn money from this game?? You can trade?? Limited items?? Thereās a DevForum?? There was a lot I didnāt know about Roblox. My first impression of creating games on Roblox was that you could create games, but the coding wasnāt advanced. I like advanced code, not block code. But you canāt judge a book by its cover! One of my friends makes Roblox games and that inspired me to look into game development a lot more - to discover that Roblox truly is amazing.
The first game I ever made on Roblox had no code, at that point I didnāt even consider code as a possibility. I made it with a friend a few years ago.
The first time I actually came in contact with Lua scripting was 3 weeks ago. I now know some Lua, since C# and Lua are fairly similar, and before Lua Iād been learning C#.
The first programming language I learned was Visual Basic, then I started learning other languages like C# and Python.
My goal is to get much better at programming in Lua, as well as getting better at graphic design and building in Roblox Studio and in blender.
Iām a programmer, but I also like graphic design and Iād like to start learning blender and better building in Roblox Studio as well.
Iāve made a very simple game called Emerald Tower, and Iām working on a more complex game called The Lounge (both are hangouts). The Lounge is going to be the next level of my development, I hope to learn a lot as I create it. I want for it to be a showcase and also just a place to hangout with friends. I have a Roblox group, called Alacriware Studios.
I like everything technology, I love programming and Iām excited to be a part of thew Roblox DevForum!

I saw a youtuber play it around 2015, Seemed really fun. But I had one problem I didnāt know how to log on. I had a Ipad back then. Like a month later I saw it on the App store. I was so happy! I downloaded it but my Ipad was old. So it didnāt work. Then my sister showed me on our mac, how to log on! (I use windows now) And thatās the story of how I found Roblox.

1. If I remember correctly, Iām pretty sure I found āRobloxā by watching the youtuber called āIBallisticSquidā or something like that.
2. After some time to getting used to āRobloxā, I wanted to build and craft my own game that I can manage.
3. My goal wasnāt and will never be for āRobuxā as I only wanted to be admired and have people look up to me so I can give them feedback. I also wanted to have friends that had the same hobbies as me and I can speak to them whenever I wanted.
4. I am currently trying to progress to the ranks of āProgrammingā, āBuildingā, āGFX Creatingā, āClothing Designingā, and āModelingā.

Iāve been playing roblox since early 2016 but took a break at the end of 2018 after I finished building a map. Iāve been back for a few months and started working on my first game. My aim is to have people enjoy what I make and its something I can feel proud of. Hopefully I can help people here.

I found Roblox in 2007 when I was browsing the web on the old desktop my family had. It was so slow, I gave up on trying and just made an account, which I forgot about soon after. Then I rediscovered Roblox in 2010 with my friend.
I got started with development on Roblox because I had always wanted to learn how to code and figured Lua was a good place to start. I had always dreamt of making actual code, because for the longest time I had no idea what I was looking at when I opened a script.
Currently Iām trying to finish up a top-down game Iāve been working on for the last 6 months.
And yeah, Iām a programmer

Iāve been playing roblox for 5 years, I had some accounts back in the past I lost.
How I found Roblox was I was scrolling through my play store and looking for games, This game was the top rated game so I decided to check it out.
How I got started with development Is when I found out there was a Roblox studio, I was curious to see what it was, When I started watching videos about it I decided to start messing around with some gadgets, I thought it was fun so I got connected with building as I learned more and more about Roblox Studio.
My goals are Becoming known for the games I spend times on. Iām currently hosting a cafe, I know cafes are overrated but I wanted to try something new.
Iām not so sure what I have achieved during my years on Roblox. But I hope I can do something.
My role in the developer community Is Builder. I did use to do GFX but I got a new PC since my old one is broken, I cant download what I use to do GFX.

A few months after playing ROBLOX, I wanted to create my own game for me and my friends.
My goal was to have fun and help my friends learn ROBLOX development too.

I started developing on roblox when I decided to help a friend with a game, but I needed to learn to develop first.

I found Roblox a long time ago when I was in 1st grade, saw an ad for it and thought, āmaybe this could be a cool gameā¦ā, and made an account!
I started developing when I played many games and thought, āwhy not try to make my own stuff?ā Started by playing around and learn what studio is, messed around and made some models and other such, tried lua and gave up, and recently Iāve gotten back into learning lua and itās great! 
My current goals for the future on the Roblox platform is to make people have fun games to play, and to have some fun making things!
My role in the developer community is Programmer, once I get more confident in my skills, I want to make some fantastic stuff!
