- I found Roblox a few years ago from a friend.
- I started experimenting in Roblox Studio in March 2020, because I was bored. Then, in November 2020, I realized that I had a passion for developing.
- I want to actually finish making a game, rather than abandon it.

1. How did you find Roblox?
Found roblox while watching my favorite Minecraft Youtuber. He started playing Roblox, and I watched those videos with enlightment.
2. How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
I started with free models, like everyone. I slowly started to learn how to build better, and I can now say wih confidence that I am a pretty experienced builder.
3. Current goals/achievements on the platform
Currently, Iām trying to become better at animating. Iāve recently picked it up and I hope to Animate instead of build in the upcoming years. I find it extremely fun to do.
2. What is your role in the developer community?
Builder and Animator. I can build better than animate as of now, but Iām hoping to switch the two around.

Very happy to finally have the Member trust level, and I look forward to using the Devforum!

I found Roblox through a Minecraft YouTube channel! I been on Roblox for about three years now! My goals is to make a successful game that everyone will enjoy and to become a very well known developer! My role is Programmer and I really like programming stuff and see them actually work!

I found Roblox because of my friends, They suggested that I play Roblox.
When I realized I could actually build in Roblox studio, I started creating things (houses, trains, etc.)
My current goal on Roblox is to become successful.

My cousin introduced me to it and I immediatley became hooked because of the wide variety of games you can play and the excitement and action you get from playing said games.
- How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
The mainly the games because instead of doing the same thing over and over you had over 100 games to tryout and it was great!

Well my goals right now is to grow my tactical clothing group and get better at clothing.

My role is a clothing designer.

- My sister saw this new game and I wanted to try it out with her, aka it was Roblox.

First I started playing Roblox in the middle of 2019, my little cousin requested me to download it.
Thatās how I started playing Roblox.
When i known that Roblox allows any user to create games, I was interested in creating my own, but i encountered some problems.
After some time I learned the basics of Roblox Studio like moving parts, resizing them, also changing their color, etcā¦
Now my goal is the be a professional scripter and make some big games!

I joined Roblox in 2008 and ever since havenāt found out about the DevForum until yesterday.
How did you get started with development on the roblox platform?
The only bit I only knew and started on the Roblox Platform was building! I knew Building was pretty much also the MAIN fame of Roblox Studio along with programming (scripting).

Hello, I am AurexOfAsylia/TheReigningAsylian/Whatever I change my name to later. I found roblox in around 2010 from some friends. I started developing as a builder on roblox about two years ago and more recently I am trying to take on programming. I plan to make a strategic game on roblox soon enough with the majority of the work being my own. (Building and programming)

Been on Roblox for awhile nowā¦I have to say that the hardest thing was getting promoted on this forumā¦lol
Im a game dev currently working on an MMORPG. Yes, I know, its a big project. Im motivated and have the capacity to do so, so why not. Feel free to message me or check out my primary group, for sneak peaks of the game.
1- When I first found about Roblox was from my brother, I used to play other FPS games, but thankfully my brother showed me Roblox. I was not really used to play Roblox and was not really excited about it, then I started playing the most popular games. I liked Roblox so much and I started finding out secrets like the RB battles swords, this was probably one of my favorite events.
2- I started development on the Roblox platform by trying to make funny games to play with my friends. I only knew how to use free models only, nothing else. Then I started looking on Youtube to know how to make an invisible wall and invisible spawn. Then I like developing and I wanted to make a game like Murder Mystery, I looked into Youtube and saw a tutorial and followed it. I didnāt know anything about Scripting, Building, etc. I copied the scripts from his videos comment/description part. After doing so, I noticed that my game was not working well, I tried to put some code from my understanding inside the scripts but it made it worse. I stopped for a while and came back. I watched almost every scripting tutorial on Youtube, I still knew simple stuff. I learned scripting by looking into the script and looking in the Dev Forums.
3- I have a really big game/achievements coming really soon on the Roblox platform.
4- My role in the Roblox developer community is a Programmer.
5- I would like to say that the Dev forums is one of the best sites to learn and ask and see what others think and help them. I really appreciate this and I would recommend anyone to use The Dev Forums. I really like it and I give it a 10/10.
Hi. I found roblox from playing years ago and just fell in love with playing and more prominently, Lua coding and studio building. I started from the ground with basically no knowledge but now I am doing really well due to this forum and the wiki. My only goals are to be able to learn to the best I can, be able to make working games and help others along the way. I am focusing on the scripting side but want to learn building skills.

- I found Roblox when one of my most favorite youtuber, DanTDM, played Roblox. I became interested on how you can create and play other peopleās games.
- I got started with development on Roblox platform when I was revisiting an old free modeled game I made 3 - 4 years ago.
- My current goals is to learn Lua and get my showcase up to 2,500 visits.
- My current role is an Builder. Iām planning to be an scripter also.
- Uhh, go play my showcase. I spent a lot of time on it and it would mean a lot to me sooo yeah.
I found it back in 2012 and got hooked since, I started developing in late 2017. I currently donāt have goals so far. Iām a builder, and Iām learning how to code.
