Inventory shows past username at time of item creation

I was looking in my inventory and noticed in the “Animations”, “Models & Packages” & “Decals” category (probably extends to all the other categories, I wouldn’t know) it shows the username I had at the time of asset creation, not my current Roblox username.

This may be difficult to reproduce onsite without spending money, sorry lol. If for some reason relevant this is on Firefox 134.0.2, occurs with all my plugins disabled

Expected behavior is it shows your current username, not username at the time you made the asset. (look at my profile, my current username is @zootSql, not @nataniwolf or @raineplush)

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We’ll share an update once we start to work on a fix to address the issue.

In the meantime, a workaround would be to change another feature of the asset (e.g. tweak the description and save it) which should cause the username to update in the UI.

Hey @NWSSPC , thanks for bringing this to our attention. Just to be transparent with you, we don’t plan to fix this since the solution would take a while given how our system is set up and so we’d rather use that time to focus on other projects given that we can only prioritize so many bugs & projects. As a workaround I’d recommend the solution above from FriendlyAdder. Thanks again and please keep reporting issues you see!
