I have had a few questions and concerns about investing lately. Why does devforum not allow investing on the platform? Aswell, where should people go (other than hidden developers) to find an investment. Shouldnt investing be allowed on this platform to allow developers help with their growth?

I do not think investing should be allowed on the DevForum. Investing is risky because you are giving someone robux hoping to get it back. The risk is that you may not get the robux back due to the game not being successful. This is where the trouble begins, and I think Roblox does not want to deal with it.
It was removed and for good reason; there is no point in investors.
Ads aren’t a must and neither is a huge team of developers, social media and percentage payments (with backup if possible) suffice. Additionally, investors have been scammed before of their money - something which isn’t easy to sort out.

This has been answered plenty of times. No. This is because of the weak security between your investor, and client, there’s barely any investors on ROBLOX(from what I’ve experienced.). When the investor gives you money, they expect that money in return, and a lot of people didn’t do this because of games failing or just scamming in general. It also won’t be feasible for ROBLOX do support or help people who had trouble with this.
Honestly, I won’t recommend getting an investor, people just need to have good marketing skills and thoughtful organization. If you just do that, you"ll be making Robux in no time.
If you do want to get an investor and risk not getting into trouble with him/her, make an official agreement or contract stating what’s going to happen during the process, and what each will get in return.
