Studio highlights physical instances that aren’t locked.
Toggle the lock property under the parts property tab you don’t want to highlight when your cursor goes over them. Though, you’ll not be able to select them normally, easiest way to select a locked part is by selecting it within the explorer.
EDIT: I am not aware of any other workaround. Haven’t tinkered a lot with studio settings.
