I would like to have some help regarding an issue I’ve had with my game forever:
When there are multiple people in one server, players normally become invisible to others without a fix. This seems to be a client problem, since someone that’s invisible for a player can or can not also be invisible for other players. I have no idea of what could cause this, and it’s an issue that has been present since the creation of the place. To make things worse, absolutely no error nor print ever pops up in the output. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
This could be many things, a bug in one of your scripts, a virus you got from a free model or it could really be a Roblox bug. Check your hierarchy out in testing state and non-testing state and check if you find anything suspicious. Plugins can also do bad things to your game.
Secondly, you can create another place and see if the issue still persists there.
And lastly, if the solutions I offered aren’t any help, contact Roblox Support. This could be a bug that only Roblox could fix. Provide them enough information so they could figure this out more quickly and help you out. If I was you, I would find out if this was in Studio while testing or in-game.
Make sure to search forums and articles to see if anyone else is experiencing the same problem, maybe you’ll get to solve this problem from the topics you found online.
I’ve encountered this issue before where characters kill another person client sided instead of server sided. This is usually just because of bad coding practices, and so on one client’s screen, that player is dead, but actually, they’re alive and walking around on their screen. I’m not sure if this is your issue, but I hope you find a solution.
Did you ever find a solution or fix to this issue? I am having the exact same problem now where a player is invisible on another person’s screen, but visible to all others. Although interestingly enough it also happens to some map parts in my game. I also have streaming enabled off so know that’s not it.
This means you have been hacked I am trying to fix mine but nothing is working I need to copy it into a new game because the virus is inside my game hiding. And I am unable to find it. :<
Follow up on this. I no longer am associated with this game/group so im not sure if they fixed this. From what I know they did use free models and weird plugins, so if you have this issue looking into this could help.
