Hey devs! i wonder if 3Ds max is better then Blender…
I would i like to see your opinion about this.

I do think that the lighting is better.

I never heard of that, but Blender can still do that. It all depends on the skill of the user.

It really depends what you use it for, I dont know why you would pay for 3Ds max when blender is free and there is not a big difference

3Ds max is made for rendering and easier to use, i have used blender for 6-7 months now and i started using 3Ds max for 3 months.

really? what in 3ds is much easier to use?
3dsMax has better modeling, rendering, animation, simulation tools and its more flexible and ease for customization and scripting. Blender is very capable, does the same thing, get close, but not better. Painting is slightly better in blender

I’m not familiar with what 3ds max is good at since I do not own the software but I’m sure it’s better in ways blender isn’t and blender are also better than 3ds max in other ways
what I’m trying to say is they’re not necessarily better than one another and they have their own ups and downs
I really can’t say much about 3ds max since I’m not familiar with it but blender is free and I haven’t had any problems learning it (3ds max I heard is easier and it also worked for you so yeah)
That all depends on the user, you can buy V-ray for blender also.
