I am making a game which combines minigames and First Person Shooting games. I though about making a special game mode which spawns in the middle of the lobby a jar of money. When people click on the jar, they add a certain amount of credits, and the person who joined the bet and got the most points at the end of the round will reclaim all the money.
Even though It’s a simple bet system, I don’t know If It’s something suitable for Roblox… What do you think? (Sorry for my English)
Your way is like trading but one person is going to get nothing, well, I would say its gambling but since its in-game currency it wouldn’t matter much. Probably add a warning if the player starts a bet saying that they might lose their credits in a round so that they know that they are in risk of losing their credits.
However, if the player is buying credits by robux then you shouldn’t do this type of technique because its like wasting their robux, if you get what I mean?
I’ve looked at many similar posts to this and most of them have stated that gambling is allowed if a few conditions are met:
You are not gambling real money
The currency you are gambling can not be purchased as a dev product (so only earn able in game)
If you ensure that your “gold” or “coins” are only obtainable in game and can not be purchased using ROBUX then I believe you are allowed to create a form gambling.
