Is anyone else having some problems with advertising lately?

hi,
we have been running some test ads, which has never been a problem in the past for us, and we are getting abysmally low ctrs suddenly. this is our highest effort ad campaign yet, but the numbers don’t reflect this at all. first, we ran a cheap sponsorship to test how interesting our icon and thumbnail are, and this is how it went:

we thought it might be because of our thumbnail possibly, so about halfway through the sponsorship we made it brighter, made it generally look better and more eye catching, and then had the same results for the remainder of the sponsor.

After this, we decided our icon just might not be sponsorship material, so we ran an ad instead. we spent about 2-3 hours in photoshop making this ad, making it look good and interesting.
The ad:

and then the result:

on uninteresting, bland ads we ran for lower bids in the past, we got higher ctrs. does anyone know what we might be doing wrong?

I’ve seen someone else have trouble with their sponsorship on their game but they also had a few problems or it might be that bigger games are bidding higher amounts of robux on ads lately, I remember around half a year ago I would always see smaller games with around 500-100k visits but now every ad I click on the game has like 1mil-20mil visits.

The ad design seems a little bit scary, with 2D drawings on a 3D Roblox character.

I also think targeting phone is a bad idea since you don’t really get phone ads anyways. Targeting computer and tablet is always the best.

I’m not sure about the ‘<13’ part, since some people are under 13 but have their account set wrong.

Put your profile picture on your ad and stretch it, I think you’ll get a higher ctr:

we didnt target phones, we included computers as well

True, but targeting phones takes some advertising away from computers and tablets. This is why you should not advertise for phones at all. Think about it, when was the last time you clicked an ad on your phone?

This has been a problem with Roblox Ads recently. I believe that as more children have access to computers to play roblox, there will be more of them that click the lower quality, scammy ads, in turn avoiding the more higher quality ones (such as yours). I myself have not been doing that good CTR-wise either, even though I’m still getting daily visits on my game.

Plus, Late June and all of July is one of the worst times to advertise a new game (since more people are taking vacations and not playing) as well as one of the best (since there are still more net players during the summer).

Overall, a larger amount of robux spent will help, as well as a fix to the current advertising system roblox has. Either then that, there’s not much else you can do.

Edit: As for the sponsored experiences, it is best to run it only for mobile and console users, as including computer players will steer away more incoming players. As someone who has messed around with these types of things for months, I have learned it is always best to run a sponsored experience side-by-side with an ad.
