Is Copying Games Against ToS?

I was recently banned for 3 days for “stealing the work of others”. However, I never stole assets from their game. My game was composed of various free models and my own work. The game idea was the same as an existing, and the map (which was a free model) was the same. There were minor differences which (in my opinion) made it more fun and unique. Is this still against ToS?

Someone may have stolen the assets and put them for free in the toolbox.
You have to be really careful about things like that.

Assets on in the toolbox may be stolen, always check the asset and check the user distributing the asset.

Well the assets I used was not stolen, and I am pretty sure of it (classic roblox house, arrow image, jump image) which were created before the existing game. So if you just steal the idea, is it against ToS? Also, shouldn’t roblox make the uploader take responsibility? Creators shouldn’t have to be taking a risk when using a feature roblox provided.

You could report the items, but ultimately you are responsible as the person publishing the game.

Just got messaged from Roblox support, they cleared the ban.
