i wanna do a 1000 robux giveaway at 5k likes of the game ( group payouts ), but i wanna know if this is against the tos, cuz its basically free robux? also if i can do it can anyone give me some steps to successfully give the prize

Using third-party services to buy, sell, trade, or give away Robux. This does not apply to Roblox gift cards.

Not completely, gift cards are the one exception.

I’ve seen many games do that, but you need to make sure there is a fool-proof way to do this or else it easily gets stolen. You can’t direct them off platform either, literally have to give it to them in the game itself. :woozy_face:
Can’t give away in chat (too easy to steal), but also I think it would be blocked by any chat filter.

If you are willing to use a gift-card code, it’s really just as simple as joining the game and asking a player if they want it. Once they agree, you whisper the code to them. Or, you could make your own custom private messaging system.

no im serious my playerbase is braindead, like onetime i put a text in chat saying

to votekick someone, write “votekick” playername!

they literally wrote

“votekick” someonesname!

with the quotatians and exclamation mark

u can see how they wouldnt understand

Then you would need to create your own message system and then figure out how to display that code to just that player and probably would be good to flag this somewhere so you know the player got it, etc. The smallest gift cards are $10, so expect someone to be really happy if they get it. :joy:

There is no way to check a gift card balance (without redeeming it) that I am aware of. Plenty of fake sites claiming to, so you have to be careful they don’t steal your gift card.

yeah, so if he doesn’t have the real money to buy giftcards then he’s not gonna be able to give away robux. PLS donate is also an alternative

I would have said the same thing last year, but it appears you have to be careful doing this as the Ai tends to flag these transactions and ban accounts. :disappointed_relieved:

you can limit the payout to 360 robux per transaction, i believe paying large amounts of robux at once can seem suspicious especially if it’s from a private server, a shirt or some gamepass.
