Is front paging clothes a good idea?

Hey, I have a couple of questions regarding front-paging Roblox clothes.
I have this shirt that’s sold close to 1200 times and it is selling about 10-20 times a day,
the shirt is up on sale for 5 Robux, meaning I get 3 Robux per sale.
I want to expand the number of sales in order to gain more revenue and expand my clothing group.

That’s how I first got the idea of front paging clothing, I did some research and it seemed like a good idea from what I had discovered through a few youtube videos and some other research.
However, the internet can be very outdated and deceiving so I figured I’d ask here.

When front paging clothing you obviously will spend a lot of Robux getting the clothing to the front pages of the catalog. In return, however, you do get 70% of your investment back and however much the sales equal up to. I have a few questions regarding the topic of doing this:

  1. Is front paging clothes worth it? If not, how could I increase sales without doing it?
  2. Is it likely that I’ll end up making a profit? If so would it be long-term or short-term profit?
  3. How much Robux would be a good amount to use?

You’re honestly better of uploading a-lot of clothes that you’ve made in bulk to a group and then advertising it from there. If what I think you’re saying is from uploading on your profile and advertising it from there, is an okay idea if you have the right shirt / pant that people would want to buy.

  1. You should only really advertise heavily on clothes off of your profile if it’s like a baby yoda t-shirt when he was still new and super relevant in mainstream media. If it’s like a suit with pants linked in the desc, it’s not really worth it.

  2. From just putting ROBUX to advertising you’re not going to really make alot of moeny back short term since not everyone buys from clicking ads, people mostly buy from looking at other things in pairs of sets (Shirts and Pants) in bulk. For example if you had a suit group people would buy suits in bulk which makes you more profit then putting out advertisements that is how you make money long term in correlation to #1 where you focus on advertising and getting more traffic in the community by people visiting your group with consistent purchases.

  3. If you are going to drop robux on advertising a group for clothing or a shit off your profile be prepared to hypothetically drop 5k but maybe make 1k back in profit (varies on the clothing you advertise different in every case and how traffic is on the website)
sure you’ll get more sales and it’ll fall in deeper in the algorithm for more people to see but it’s a long shot and a risk you have to take.

I think there has been a misunderstanding, when I said front-paging clothing I was referring to this: - YouTube and not advertising them through an ad. My apologies if the topic was a bit confusing.

It can get you banned if you do it often.

Wait what? Get you banned? How come?

No, don’t. That’s just unfair to other designers.

I think it’s just a waste of robux and you’d be better off advertising instead.

I’m not too sure, but I had some close friends get banned for abusing the system. Technically, you are cutting corners to get to the front page which is why most of the dominated clothing groups on the catalog use an alt. It’s risky, you are sometimes looked down upon using this method. It’s your choice really

Interesting, didn’t know you could be banned. Thanks for the warning.

Its not the best idea, In my opinion it would be a waste of money.
