Is Gambling Robux Permitted? If players are able to flip real limiteds & robux (like in RBXFlip) inside of a game, would said game be taken down? On another note, if a purchasable in-game currency (that can also be earned via playing the game) is used for the purpose of gambling, would that be allowed by Roblox?

The Community Standards explicitly states that gambling with Robux, and anything purchasable with Robux is not permitted.

Not only is it illegal on Roblox you may land in legal trouble outside of Roblox for hosting unauthorized online gambling.

Ah! Thanks. What about the latter, though? Trade Tower allows users to purchase in-game, gamble-able currency with robux that can also be earned via playing the game.

I can’t rule whether or not that game abides by the Community Standards, all I can definitely state is that your concept as you describe it is not abiding.

Just because other games break the rules doesn’t mean you can.
Not only is gambling robux through any means not allowed, but it’s also extremely unethical and also can be a legal issue (as mp3face said)
rbxflip is also against the rules, as well as any onsite remakes.

It’s quite a vague statement; I wanted to ask the thoughts of other devs.
“While we allow the portrayal of gambling in experiences, no real money, Robux, or anything that can become real money or Robux, may be exchanged in these experiences. We also require that the odds of winning be fair and not skewed in the developer’s favor.”
The answer to the former is given, yet the latter’s is not.
