Is gore in a thumbnail/game icon allowed?

Will my game not get featured/playable on Xbox if it has very slight gore in the thumbnail/game icon?

Here’s a picture of my thumbnail. (The game icon is the same, there is slight blood in next to the words “Dead Haven” and a slight bloody hand print), is this too much?

Also my game will not have gore in it, it will just be on the thumbnail/game icon. I could remove the hand print if it’s too much but I would atleast like the small amount in the upper left corner.

This isn’t at all gore. Xbox users may just see it as red paint, like how kindergartners make hand paintings by dipping their hands into paint and stamping it on a piece of paper. Gore would be something like organs and actual dismemberment or actual harm inflicted on a living being.

Trying to find loopholes in the rules like that is pretty scummy and unlikely to work. This is clearly blood, not red paint. When the guidelines say no blood, they mean no blood, not “try and find out as many excuses as you can for this not being blood!”

For the record, the XBox Guidelines say “No blood / gore”, not just no gore.

So what would happen to this game if it was playable for Xbox players?

It would get taken down. I don’t know the exact punishment for marking a game for console support when it shouldn’t be, but you would definitely be punished.
