Is it a big deal if you start getting into recommendations?

 Hello everyone

So this is my first post on the Forums so apologies if I don’t do something correct

So my question is; is it a big deal if ROBLOX starts to recommend your game on the Home page; So for a while now me and my friend have put the odd 5 - 10 dollars on advertising; recently we’ve noticed that we are starting to get players and impressions from Home Recommendations? it started at 5-10 a day and now is in the 100s per day (impressions) Is this a big deal?

Thank you for your answers in advanced

It seems they’ve recently updated the Recommendations algorithm.
If you’re on a game’s page the recommended games seems to search for similar games that are actually close to what you’re playing.

Oh okay that’s interesting so you think its a algorithm update that’s kinder to smaller games rather than a hurdle that my game has crossed?

Well, yes. Your game’s player count increased as a result.

if your game isn’t in home recommendations, it’ll be hard to find a large audience!

but to answer your question, yes it’s good that you’re getting home recommendations. now the next step to retain those recommendations is optimize your retention (and monetization). roblox will continue pushing your game if enough recommended visits meet their criteria.

What starts of the process of getting into recommendation does anyone know?
