Some cafes make it so when you buy ranks you get like special perks, other cafes make it so when you buy the rank all you do is level up.

If you want to sell ranks, just mark it as a donation, and in return you get a rank as a thank you. I haven’t seen anyone get banned with this method. I only see people get banned with things like “Rank Management Centers”

She never said if the rank was for leveling up or if it was for buying and getting a rank. She just said Paying for Ranks!
As previous people have said, selling ranks toes a very fine line. Whilst nothing is explicitly stated in the ToU, people have been moderated for doing so. In my opinion (I am a Co-Owner of a Café Group and have worked in Café groups for 5 years), unless you have a group that will never make any enemies and would never make people angry then you may get away with selling ranks. But you have to think if somebody buys it and then you go to demote them… they can report you for “scamming”.
So I advise being very careful when selling ranks. You need to think it over very clearly before making the decision to do this.
I know a lot of big groups do sell ranks, but I personally wouldn’t do it.
Interesting. I mean, I can see why. Some users bring more members onto the platform. Members who give them money.
Yes, it sucks, but that’s even more of a reason why things need to change on this platform.
But anyways, none of this relates to the reason I created this post. Why would Roblox favor groups that sell ranks? And why is that an issue for us? This topic is, something that if it is done, that you need to be very cautious with doing.
But like @colbert2677 said, holder accounts aren’t against ToS.
Classify them as a donation that grants you a rank.

Yeah, I’ve been scammed through rank selling yet Roblox took no moderation action. I was told to handle it with the developer, and we know that some developers will take the money and run with it. So it varies.
But yeah, you should be careful when selling ranks.

Hi there, I must say that you’re incorrect!
Article 4, Section A, Part 4 solely says “You may not transfer, assign, sell, gift, exchange, trade, convert, lease, sublicense, rent, or distribute Robux except through the Service and as expressly permitted by us.”. Therefore, Selling ranks is not against ToS.
