It’s late at night and I’ve done some thinking about old Roblox games that I used to play (old being created 2010 or earlier in my sense). Namely, ttt1107’s Entrepreneur Tycoon which has since been discontinued due to the FilteringEnabled requirements.
In my thinking, I came across a lingering question: “How does Roblox feel about remaking games?”. Well, thanks to this post, I know that Roblox is iffy when it comes to remaking outside properties. But what about remaking Roblox titles? How do the moderators (and other developers) feel about remaking an old, discontinued, or just a plain broken game? I’d love to hear what y’all have to say.
Also wanting to know if it’s even allowed by the TOS, probably should’ve included that in the main bit
Edit: Forgot to include how the community would potentially react (returning or new players) to a remake.
In addition to the remake, copylocks are dependable. If you can copy the true original one, it is often allowed. Do not mistake some uncopylocked places as free, sometimes it is stolen from an original source.
