Is it allowed to remake real-life sports players as NPCs?

Hi, so for my bowling game, I was thinking about at some point adding in actual NPC bots you can bowl against. If I did do that, I think it’d be pretty cool if I remade some of the best bowlers in the world as NPC characters.

I’m not sure if it’s allowed to use their actual names though? Or, if it’s allowed to do something like…

ex: Real bowler’s name is Norm Duke
What if I did Dorm Nuke? That’s a really bad example but I think you get what I mean :joy:

That should be fine for you to do. You aren’t releasing anyone’s information or any copyrighted/trademarked/reserved content by doing that. You’re simply naming NPCs which is fine. If you take someone’s copyrighted/trademarked “name” (such as their pseudonym that is not their real name) and profit off its use then you’re in the wrong.
