I have a question. For my game do I use no copy right music or pay someone to make music for me.
If you have the skills to do it yourself, then try it, but, if you can’t, you can hire someone.
To clarify: by no copyright music, are you referring to NCS or music “without” a copyright?
You’ll usually always be better off if you have music custom tailored for your game. Though it may be expensive to do, it always ensures that you have the fit you need for your games. Other music is typically a dice roll. There are tracks out there that can fit your needs and that might be all you need, but I typically encourage - where possible - acquiring custom tailored music.
I honestly find original composed music to be a little better than Public domain music, since I’ve heard tons of Kevin Macleod and TheFatRat all over the internet. However, if you’re unable to make your own music, then I totally understand if you use public domain.
There is nothing wrong with using free music as long as it is not copyrighted.
However, making your own custom music allows you to make something that fits a bit more with the atmosphere of your game.
