Is It Fine If I Use the Traditional Term for Female Dogs in My Game?

Hello, so I was planning on making a “dog encyclopedia” game for educational purposes. I was just wondering if I could use the traditional term for female dogs as part of the education. I understand that the word may be misinterpreted by some to mean “obnoxious woman” but I was hoping to stick to being as informative as possible in providing information about as many dog breeds as possible. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping to avoid moderation action while providing an informative experience.

That would be undoubtedly moderated regardless of context.

I know what you mean by the traditional term, but I don’t think ROBLOX will allow that, since there are a lot of young kids on the platform and would get affected by the word.

I would say no, since it’s a risk putting you in a warning on ROBLOX, and the game could get moderated.

Just my advice on it, I would just avoid using the Traditional Term.

This word is much more commonly used as a swear than as it’s traditional meaning. You really shouldn’t be surprised you’re not allowed to use this word on a platform with a predominately very young playerbase.

You can say that word in-game tho and it wont be blurred

Generally when moderation is concerned I go by the “If I have question it, don’t do it” rule.

I remember picking someone else’s comment as the solution but theirs ended up getting removed and I “magically” ended up picking yours as the solution. Something fishy’s going on. But I guess, yeah, it would be moderated. Thanks for the reply and me “magically/accidentally” picking it as the solution when I clearly picked someone else’s before it got removed.

Just use “she-dog” instead. Using words that usually are used with their profane definitions is too risky (and could get a kid in trouble).
